Trident Digital Tech Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ: TDTH) has established a preliminary collaboration framework with the Democratic Republic of Congo’s Ministry of Post, Telecommunications and Digital Affairs to develop a national digital identity and e-government system, building on a December 2024 agreement with the DRC’s Office of the President.
Collaboration Framework
The agreement initiates practical implementation work on the DRC’s digital identity platform. Both parties will establish frameworks for a definitive agreement to create a secure national solution customised for the DRC market.
The collaboration will focus on developing and deploying a comprehensive digital identity verification and authentication system with secure government service infrastructure. Implementation will feature encryption technologies, multi-factor authentication, and secure data transmission channels to safeguard user identities.
The system will ensure interoperability across private and public sector platforms, including banking, healthcare, telecommunications, and tax services.
